Roseland Christian Community Homes Corp. is the arm of RCM that works with members of the community to help make repairs and improvements to their homes, while also partnering with local families to assist them in buying their own homes. During the course of the last 30 years the Homes Corp. has helped 50 families move into a place they can call their own. This program has not been as active the past few years, but starting the summer of 2007 a renewed emphasis has been placed on this program. David Ten Clay, the current seminary intern, intends to come on staff during the fall of 2007 and focus most of his work with the Homes Corp. He says, “I am really excited about working with the Homes Corp. It will be a great opportunity for area CRC churches to get directly involved in the lives of Roseland residents. The vision for this program is to see churches partner with residents of the community, not only helping them fix up their homes, but beginning relationships that can continue long after the home is completed.”
