Manage evening operations of the Shelter, Monday-Friday 6pm-10pm, Saturday & Sunday two shifts, 6am-6pm & 6pm-10pm
Keep relationship with residents professional
Maintain a clean, safe living environment
Keep track of needed supplies, repairs, and incidents
Report items to Administrator
Provide resources to residents for job, school or housing while on site.
Uphold the policies and standards of the shelter.
Record arrival time of residents on your shift
Record progress and goals of residents
Reside in the facility at night when scheduled to cover over night shift (over-night volunteers). Make sure kitchen is closed by 8:00 pm, exit doors are locked and lights are out at 11 pm.
Be sure that the facility is in order before all residents leave for the day, lights are off and doors are locked (over-night volunteers)
Lead evening support classes
Make sure residents are completing chores and rooms are cleaned
Ability to observe, listen, handle and document any situations that may occur
Ability to know when to dial 911
The position is part-time. Volunteers needed for overnight during the week (10pm-6am) as well.
