The Center: The Ministry Hub

RoselandChristianMinistries is a comprehensive ministry for the sake of the Lord and for the sake of the people of Roseland on Chicago's South side. We are "centered" in God's word of Hope. We are a not-for-profit organization that offers a range of concrete and supportive services to the community, including:

§    Drop-In Center where 2 hot meals are served Monday - Friday.  Games, T.V., special programs.  Men and women are welcome to drop in.

§    Interim housing for women and their children year round.

§    A City of Chicago registered warming center.

§    The Thrift Store, "33 East", where you can find good used clothing, furniture and appliances.  An economic development project.  Pick-ups can be arranged.  Open Monday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

§    Food Pantry - monthly food distributions, emergency food anytime and a tremendous Thanksgiving and Christmas food basket give away.

§    Senior Citizens Club offering weekly meetings on Tuesdays during the months of April -November.  Monthly trips, Bible study, fashion shows, skits and concerts.  Fun for over 60 members.

Volunteer Services.  Local and out-of-town groups come for a day, weekend or a week to contribute in community services.
